I'm a fan of this flick too. A lot of good ideas but poor execution. Entertaining tho from start to finish.

I read all but like 20 pages or so of the 500ish page book and went to see this one in the theater with my sister... after the dud of an ending that didn't wrap up the story well, I asked if it was close to the book's ending and was told 'Yep'. I never got around then to finishing the last few pages. (I really enjoyed it otherwise, at least as a novel.)
