France Two Lovers (James Gray, 2008)

Has anyone perused the French Blu-ray of this James Gray romantic drama courtesy of Wild Side Video? Does it use a different codec than the VC-1 employed by Magnolia Pictures on the US edition? According to the specs I found, the French apparently has better compression. Does anyone know if the French subtitles are forced when the English DTS-HD MA track is selected? Any way to remove them?

It seems that W.S.V. includes exclusive supplements that are not on the Magnolia:
  • "James Gray, homecoming": exclusive documentary on the influence of James Gray by Jean-Pierre Lavoignat (23')
  • "The fate of the heart": an interview with James Gray ( 27')
  • "Two Lovers at Cannes" interviews with James Gray, Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinessa Shaw (26')
Can anyone confirm that each is at least partially English friendly? (The press conference at Cannes likely includes some questions in French but probably translated for the participants.) Are there imposed French subs on the extras?
