Smile best movies on Blu-ray

What do you think is the best horror film that should be (or already is) on Blu-ray? It can be an old movie or recent.

You obviously have not seen it or the question would not be asked.

That will be sad if that hits HD DVD before Paramount wakes up. I love that movie. While dreaming, I'd also like Session 9 from Universal -- it's an interesting one... not the best, but it's good enough and isn't just full of slasher porn.

I'd like a few more Tartan movies (I tend to enjoy Asian horror movies more than the American ones), like A Tale of Two Sisters. I'd also like Lady Vengeance and Sympathy for Mr Vengeance to complete the trilogy with Oldboy (although they aren't technically horror really... more just unsettling drama's).

The Devil's Backbone from Columbia would be nice treat. I don't think many have seen it though.

Halloween is a great one that's already out. Dawn of the Dead is also classic.

I wouldn't mind Suspiria (I think it's genius/dimension now though?)... although I sort of have a love/hate relationship with that movie (I wish Dario casted the movie like he originally intended -- could have been one of the best scary movies ever with that... or they could have changed the script).

Exorcism of Emily Rose is out on Region B and I think is Region Free.

The Descent is pretty good for a new horror flick.

And I would like to see...PUMPKINHEAD...no, no...GREMLINS!!!!

The Prestige

Horror? The ending reminds me very much of the old Creepy magazine stories. (You did say "horror", not shocker.)

Aside from that, The Prestige is a quality production. I love the theatricality of it. Good dramatic structure, good acting throughout. Good production qualities.
