Default Netflix vs BD sound quality

Whats your general impression of the sound quality on Netflix compared to Blu-ray?
Im wondering how much sound and details we miss while streaming. Im allways buying the big blockbusters and reference A/V movies on BD, but for how much longer are we doing that?

Another thing ive noticed, I have access to both American Netflix and Netflix from my native country. And my general impression is that, though the catalog is a lot larger, the American Netflix are of much lower sound and picture quality. Do I just imagine this?

You have access to 137 Blu-Rays and Netflix and you're asking us the difference?
