I've been seriously considering jumping for this but its So Damned Expensive Still 50/50 on purchasing.

I hear you! Most everything from AmazonJP is pretty expensive, but I do take comfort in two, very important things:

1) The product is usally fantastic(like this one).
2) They ship to near perfection. Expensive, but very safe and very fast.

Plus being Amazon, you can always hope for a price drop, and if you don't get one to your liking, just cancel.

I like the model toy box look of this item. I don't own any other version. I'm 100/0 on ordering. I have til March to back out, but I am not expecting to now. Interested in seeing how long this is still available. I'd also like to know if this is a worldwide exclusive. Time will tell.

Shipping isn't bad at ￥ 1,100 for the single item to the US.

Thanks. I chose to go with the full box set (about $140 all up..Ouch). I figure that having the paraphernalia of the books etc in Japanese makes sense for this particular title too.
