I've seen some posts on various forums that indicate it is doable, but no actual instructions or information about whether an aany third party plugins might be required to accomplish this.
What I want to do is simply be able to edit the metadata of my itunes movies and TV shows so that they show up on my Apple TV in proper order within series instead of just alphabetically. I can edit the metadata of the downloaded copies in itunes by clicking Control+i and changing the sort title and/or album so that the movies show up in order within my iTunes library, but the edits don't apparently apply to the version held in iCloud so nothing changes on my Apple TVs. The organizational freak in me just hates seeing things like Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises in different parts of my list of movies on the Apple TV and things like Men In Black 2 showing up last out of the three just bugs me. If there is any way to get things reordered properly, I would be very appreciative of the instructions for how to do this. Thanks, chris |
