Someone on some thread said that AnchorBay emailed them back and said that it would contain the complete fights and not just highlights like they showed on Spike.

After doing a few searches I've found out that this set is infact a 6 disc blu ray set of full fight coverage of the top 100 fights shown on spike!my orders in and just waiting for release day!it should also be region free too as all other anchor bay/starz releases have been region free!I've ordered ufc 100 blu ray and it's been dispatched so I'll know for sure when that arrives!!

Sounds great. Ultimate Knockouts 7 was a big disappointment because it JUST shows the actual KO's of the fight, and not the entire fight.

Sounds like a must buy for me, i have the other UFC blu rays, hope this will be region free like them.

Comes out Dec 8th? thats my birthday so maybe i dont have to use my own cash to get it lol.

Every Ultimate Knockouts that has been released has been like that.

Anyways this is a must have for me and an early Christmas present. Can not wait to have some friends over to watch this one.

I never seen one before 7, wish I would have cause I wouldn't have bought it.

If you live in Europe and it's working it must be a region free disc,but if your in America I'm not sure how you'd find out!sorry mate didn't think of how you'd tell otherwise!

I didnt know about Ultimate Knockouts 7 being highlights, now I dont want it anymore.

Was actually looking forward to it, but it sounds pretty bad tbh..

@WETHAMUTD1, the UFC100 blu is out already?

It isn't just 'highlights'. It gives some context to the fight audibly and then you see what led up to the knockout. Considering who some of the fighters in this are I'm not sure I'd want to see an entire previous round from them. For less than 18 bucks it is a huge steal if you are a big fan.

For me, I'd rather see the whole fight because I recently got into UFC.

Fair enough but I just don't get why people would think this would be anything other than the set-up and actual knockout. If you bought a BD of 'best dunks' from the NBA or 'biggest hits' from the NFL would they put the entire game broadcast in as well? Of course not.

^True. The Ultimate KO discs were always only the KO's. If you want the full fights, you would have to get the full show that the fight appeared in.

This is a hell of a set since the full fights are shown. Quite awesome for fans.

Is it like the Ultimate Comebacks series then? In those they also talk about how and where the fight happened. Ok no fighter entrances but I dont really need that.

However just "highlights" sounds really bad to me, but I think I just dont really understand what you are saying.

By full fights I mean the actual fight, not the whole card. It is obvious that that wont be on it. I was just afraid they would only show the last 30 seconds of the match with some commentary from Dana White or something.

Anyway, cant wait for the 8Dec. set. It will be awesome.
In my topic we spoke about how some fights shouldve been there which most likely wont be, but its still looking great. I have a list right here.

It isn't the complete fight when the knockout occured. Sometimes there is a minute or two leading up to the actual knockout. Sometimes less. It has the live commentary from Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan. After the knockout you get multiple replays as long as the fighter's celebration as it was when it aired. Mike Goldberg also sets up the footage by giving context for the match, why it occured, the place the fighters were in career wise, etc. Sometimes a brief clip with an interview is spliced in as well. It is exactly what it should be and I'm scratching my head as to why someone would think it would be the full fight.

I'm just saying you will not always get the previous full rounds (if they occurred) or even the start of a round. Don't buy it and be dissapointed for thinking you are getting something you might not be. Anyways if you do get it hopefully you enjoy it for what it is, I have multiple times. Good BD to throw on when you have buddies over.

Yeah I ordered it off axel music and it's been dispatched!takes 5-9 working days to recieve so next mon/tue I'll get it at latest!
