I'm converting to blu-ray at the same time I'm keeping anything that either isn't on blu yet, or I just don't like the new edition of (like say, the cover packaging for Ninth Gate). But I sell off a lot of DVDs and while I never miss anything I get rid of, I do sometimes wonder why things sell for what they do...and I've been on ebay for like 15 years!
The most recent DVD I sold off was Disney's Lion King. I just picked up the blu-ray so getting rid of it was natural. I just thought I'd have gotten more than I did. But then I look around and I'm tempted to get rid of this or that based on potential profit...but then a movie would most likely be gone from my collection for years until it came back out, IF it came back out. So what say you, my fellow wheelers and dealers? What was the last DVD you sold off? Why'd you sell it? Is there something you sold off that you wish you had back? Why? |
