Default Those 'Home Theater' tin or aluminum signs

Not quite sure where to put this, although it's something I see in a good percentage of the galleries posted here... I'm talking about those little home theater signs that you see on eBay and Amazon, usually made of tin or whatnot. Sort of like the one posted below.

Does anyone have any experience with them and could tell me how the quality is? I'm guessing they're probably paper thin. One of my concerns is if they stain the walls over time, and if they're really as rusty as they look, or is it just painted to appear old?

I'm pretty much a total noob when it comes to adding decor, but some of these signs are actually pretty cool and I'd love to add a few to my room.

Thanks in advance...

If you have a Hobby Lobby nearby you can check out signs like these in person. They had quite a variety last time I was there

I haven't been to a hobby shop in years. I had no idea they even carried something like that nowadays. Very cool indeed.
