My copy is due for delivery today from Amazon, although I still haven't cracked open the Season One set :-O

Hoping it has same slipbox as previous three series because OCD part of me hates series that don't match on the shelf which seems to happen a lot.

I agree, consistency would be nice. I haven't seen this season yet. I understand that the next one will be the last. Really strange how it isn't more popular on here. Season three didn't even have a thread!

Got mine today from Amazon. Comes with a slipbox just like all previous seasons, with glossy embossed title. Looks great.

A predictable £37.99 in HMV. Will be waiting for a significant price drop before i purchase.

Tempted to get it from Amazon US, works out at £27 with the cheapest shipping. I haven't seen actual pics of the sets but I think the US set looks better from the stock photos.

As usual with HBO titles very expensive to begin with as around £32 online and as said above £37.99 in HMV.

Holding fire this should drop to the £20 within a year, although not as quickly as TV shows from other studios.

Paid 23 quid for seasons 1-3, so unless Cex do a True Detective, I can wait.

Has anyone ever picked up one of these multi-season packages of HBO shows from Amazon.uk? Not quite sure I understand the practice of releasing a new set of the current/previous seasons every time a new one is released, but I do like the artwork on them. Even though I have been buying the individual seasons, it'll still be interesting to see what the complete series artwork and packaging might look like.

It's common in the UK, but less so in the US. They bundle previous releases together (often they literally just take the amarays and stick them in a cardboard box, but that may not be the case here), and it's generally cheaper to buy the bundle than the individual boxsets, so it's a way of getting customers to buy more seasons than they might otherwise...

I've got the 3 season set, and yeah it's just 3 amaray cases inside a box, admittedly better quality than a lot of other similar stuff with a nice glossy embossed logo like Simon said. I guess they use that for all their releases of BE.

I quite like that they do them because I'd never seen the show before and picked it up during the Amazon Christmas sales. Lot better than buying all individual releases or waiting ages for a complete set. And I guess it worked out for them because I want to buy the new seasons as they release now
