Default Batman The Animated Series Boxset

Does anyone know where I can get the boxset of the 90's Animated Batman series for a reasonable price they're OOP and nearly every copy on eBay and Amazon are bootlegs and the ones that aren't are $150-300! I've been looking for this for AGES. Please help! This is it:

Was it a bootleg, the bootlegs have misspellings on the disc the artbook and the logos are wrong.

Certainly do stay away from the eBay ones, unless a seller has actual images of his box set and the discs themselves, as the majority of them up there are knock-off's from overseas. I alerted eBay to this, especially when a few sellers had photos posted that confirmed their sets were bootlegs, and eBay did nothing about it. Originals are very hard to find, as you are finding out, generally around the $200+ range.

I think you might be hard pressed to find it other than ebay/third party sellers. I bought mine from Amazon in 2009 for $77.

Yeah I've pretty much accepted the fact that I won't get this without paying an extortionate amount

I'm so glad I picked mine up long time ago. Still even though I own it, if it ever gets released on Bluray, I'll pick it up Day 1. It is such a good show. Love it.

Since it was in the blu-ray threads...when I saw this posted I was like "YES!" Only to read the thread and be disappointed.

I've got sets one and two, but was holding off at this point on the others, hoping the blu-ray box would get announced. It doesn't seem that animation is jumping to the format as quickly as I'd hoped.

This thread hasn't been active in a few years but collectors take note, if you are looking for the box set, which has been OOP for years, eBay has suddenly become flooded with them, and more than likely they are overseas knockoffs.

As most people know, the original knockoffs were quite easy to spot, especially with the word "Animated" misspelled on the front. A lot of people started creating helpful videos examining the bootlegs to originals and the differences. I think those that were making the bootlegs paid attention and made the changes needed to make them harder to spot. It is hard to believe that suddenly a bunch of OOP originals factory-sealed were suddenly found, one seller on eBay has about 30 of them available, 24 of which have sold as of this posting.

It will make it increasingly harder to sell the original OOP ones when comparing to the bootlegs popping up for around $70-$90 now. Someone will phoney up the cash eventually to purchase one of the bootlegs and compare it in fine detail to an original. Just a big "Buyer Beware" regarding the ones you are seeing on eBay and Amazon.
