[Insert timely quote from the film]

This shall be mine, as it is one of my favorite American comedies.

You'll get my money again, zavvi — I foolishly thought they'd stop after their Thor/Captain America SBs, my wallet can't keep up and yet I'd feel bad not to own these ! I'm new to this steelbook frenzy, but zavvi started making exclusives steelbooks this year, right? Before that it was play.com. Because these past few weeks, it feels like they're going nuts with loads and loads of exclusives steelbooks, more than ever before, or maybe it's just an impression.

Yes it is getting a bit like Pokemon now. My issue is that I was trying not to double dip but that has long gone by the wayside. I have tons of amaray releases to sell now

Already got the American Rich Mahogany Edition, which is a great set, so I'll be passing this one up. This shouldn't come as a surprise though as the sequel is right around the corner...

I'm still at the point where I'm trying not to double dip but it's getting hard (and with the Watchmen steelbook on its way from amazon.com, in a couple of weeks it will no longer be the case). It's not considered double dipping if I buy Blu-rays of films I already had on DVD, is it? Otherwise I've been double dipping for a while now — hmm, sounds like a sex thing .

I hope this will include Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie, a 90-minute compilation made from dropped sub-plots and alternate takes of Anchorman.

It's included in the Rich Mahogany edition GC Riot is talking about, but I fear this Zavvi exclusive steelbook won't have two discs (and thus not have this Lost Movie) - not that a second disc is required to put this bonus, it's possible to have both a 104-minute film and a 90-minute bonus in HD on one disc.

Apparently it's not that good, but this is 2013, it's a new edition and as fans we should at least have access to it. Hopefully zavvi will be thoughtful and either put the second disc in the steelbook or put it all on one disc.

I am afraid both play with their exclusives and now zavvi dont have a good track record of having the second discs

I'll probably get this if the artwork's good. Already got this edition:

on DVD, so I wouldn't be too fussed about bonus features

It won't be a "new" edition - it'll be the same current UK disc in new packaging, as all of these steelbook re-releases have been.

Funny film, but steelbook material? Easy pass for me. Besides, I bought the 2 disc Mahogany Edition a couple of months ago.

This.

Just doesn't *feel* like a steelbook type feel for me.

80% sure I'll pass

Agreed. I'm happy with Rich Mahogany Edition (which I picked up for $10 from BB when it was the deal of the day back in 2010) and won't bother overpaying for the SB.

Zavvi, please just shut up and announce a steel for Star Trek ITD to match my original Play.com Steel!

On topic, I might just get this if it's the right price.

I would get this if the artwork featured Ron Burgundy swimming in a glass of scotch.

Theres something about comedy films that just don't fit the 'ideal' of a steel book.

I love the film and you know I'll probably get it, maybe not pre order but later on down the line.
