Just saw this. Very sad to hear. Knew him first from the Cosby show but also from Jeremiah with Luke Perry. One of my favorite shows. Rest in peace and thank you for the entertainment

Very sad news ..He was a graet actor. Loved him as Theo, but also in the various roles he's played since then. He was still relatively young.

He was great as Theo on the Cosby Show. I was shocked when I saw that he had passed. RIP

Malcolm Jamal was my favorite person to watch during the Cosby show theme music.

God bless you and his family and the remaining cast members of the show always!!!

Terrible news. Loved him as Kurdy in JEREMIAH. Way too soon.

I never watched anything he did after "The Cosby Show" ended, but I remember seeing him at the World Series of Poker once, and Brad Garrett was right next to him. At one point, Brad launched into an impression of Cosby, and Malcolm started laughing, even commenting that "white guys can't usually do him".
