Nad Reciever - Blu-ray Forum

I Have a NAD reciever for my other tv which everyone uses...
Just wondering what you guys think of NAD ...
I have never heard that brand mentioned here.
I personally love it..Its a 7.1 I have to check if it has hdmi or not..

I always liked their equipment, they are in the processes of releasing a few new models with HDMI1.3 as well as a new processor. They should be out by the end of the year but they have been delayed before.

They will not do Dobly TrueHD or DTS HDMA decoding though, so you would have to send multichannel PCM over HDMI

There is a long long thread on the NAD HDMI receivers over on AVS (The NAD T775/T785 AVRs w/ HDMI 1.3 Thread!) as well as a thread on the T175 processor as well.

I have the T762.
Although it is a nice reciever, it does not have any hdmi..

I really like NAD's "simplest is best" approach and understated looks. However I had an NAD stereo integrated amp and CD player in the past and both had cheap switches that wore out relatively quickly.
