United Kingdom Tokyo Tribe (Sion Sono) June 15th - Eureka Entertainment

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00X2LIHHC

Special Features:

Optional English subtitles
Feature-length behind-the-scenes documentary
Deleted scenes
Trailer
Limited edition collector s booklet featuring new writing on the film by critic Aaron Hillis along with behind-the-scenes photography

Should be a good flick, granted I'm still waiting for Sono's last film, Why Don't You Play In Hell? to come out over here, that one seems slightly more up my alley.

I think Eureka stuff tends to be locked. Granted with this being a new release unlike the MoC collection, it may be different. Either way, it's probably safer to at least wait and see what it is come release.

It's unlikely for it to be Region Free on BD.

Eureka used to favor Region Free when doing DVDs but that was because the contracts allowed them to do so. Since they started BDs, the majority of their BDs have been Region locked.

Also, I think that European BDs of Asian titles are rarely Region Free (might be wrong though, but that's my impression).

I got an invoice without the reduction, had to email them to get it knocked down. They acted like they were doing me a favour! If you're not going to give me the cheapest pre-release price then your policy is worthless and I'm not going to trust you. With the relaunch of HMV I'll certainly be looking around more carefully in future!
That said, it did arrive today
Black amaray, but the sleeve is printed double sided (not reversible, just with one large image) which seems odd. Do Eureka usually do clear amarays?
Nice 24 page limited booklet in there too. Watching this one tonight!

Could you possibly see if the Blu-ray is region-free?

Packaging list region B. If you know some software from OS X that identifies the actual region coding then I'm happy to do so.

It's Region B locked. Get a region free player. That's how I watched it. It's a crazy insane film, too.

Having complained and been given a reduction by the customer service advisor I've now been emailed about an automatic reduction, so I'm getting the difference back twice I'l have paid a total of £7.23!

Ok, this is probably my cup of tea, but I'm not 100% sold. I like but don't love Why Don't You Play In Hell. I'm fundamentally in favor of the insane, frenetic, punk rock school of Japanese filmmaking. Reviews are mixed. What's your take?

I think it's super fun and with a touch of quality, but maybe requires apart from a liking to musicals an open mind to fully enjoy it so I don't recommend it to everyone.
