I see the distributor is listed as Warner, so hopefully that means we will not have forced French subs...

Might add this to my Lost Highway order. I like James Woods in this, and who knows when Sony will put it out here in the U.S....

Don't know how accurate this is, but DVDFr (who usually are pretty good at keeping accurate specs) lists it as Region free with English DTS-HD MA 5.1. Extras include commentary, making of, and interviews.

It is also an M6-Warner release, and not a Warner release. So the codec will likely be AVC. M6 releases are usually Region Free.

The runtime might also be off, as M6 has screwed up runtime in the past (see there Mr. & Mrs. Smith which is the 125min Director's cut, but the box lists the time as 106 mins).

+1 This movie is actually quite enjoyable. James Woods is a badass, and Sheryl Lee is beautiful as always.

Was about to order until I saw how much the shipping was from amazon.fr. I'll wait for the reviews on this one before spendin $32 bucks on it.

Yeah, standard shipping to US/Canada is 9 euros per order +1.90 euro per item in the order from Amazon.fr. Expedited shipping is a relative 'bargain' as it's only 5.5 euro more (14.50) + same 1.90 euro per item. Standard shipping gets to me in southern Arizona in a week to 10 days, expedited gets to me in 3-4 days. I'm doing an order from Amazon.fr for the Inception Steelbook which ships Dec. 3, and a copy of Vampires & Fire Walk With Me. I can do Vampires for $24.50 shipped 1st Class Mail w/ DC# in US, without DC to Canada. I can only do 6 or so copies (or any other BD) as I'm using Expedited shipping and need to keep the package value under $200 to avoid getting hit with courier import brokerage fees & tax. With expedited I should have the package Dec. 7 or 8.

No forced subtitles, French subs with the original English DTS Master Audio are completely optional.

I finally broke down and ordered this a few days ago (along with The Howling) from Amazon.fr. Looking forward to watching both of these films again. Haven't watched them in ages.
