Default What Kind of Parrot Do You Live With?

Someone wanted an offtopic thread. Here you are.

I live with Manny, the yellow naped Amazon, T.O., the Jardine's parrot and Sunny, the sun conure. They are, indeed, a complete riot, and they make a huge mess.

My oldest sister has an African Grey Parrot. I think it's named Zazu, like the one from the Lion King movie.

I live with my elderly Mother. She has a habit of chirping in at inopportune moments when I'm watching a movie. So I voted "Other" .

But in honor of this thread:

1 Blue & Gold Macaw
2 African Grey's
1 Senegal

If anyone is in the area or knows someone - these guys need a new home. We love them to death but they need more attention and love than we can give them. The macaw can be had separately. However, the Grey's and the Senegal need to go as a group.

Let me know if are interested.

Actually no. Only time it's noisy is when you say "you wanna go outside". The dogs go bezerk. Other than that it's quite peaceful actually

If I live with another type of bird, is that too off topic for this thread?

If I were closer, I would tempted to help you out. Even so, three is pretty much all we can handle, especially since the conure has a passionate hate for the Amazon, and thinks he can take him.

Have had a yellow-naped Amazon since I was born, Paco is 28 years old now. And had an African Grey, Merlin for 15 years. Both cool birds.
