Figured to make this it's own thread as it probably warrants some visibility.
I received a Sofabaton U2 today. I got it to replace a Harmony Elite which is getting cumbersome and not supported any more by Logitech. Its also a pain in the hole and won't work well with some of my setup. I configured my U2 fairly easily. One point to note is it had problems uploading the button config from its DB to the U2 for my LG OLED magic remote. I ended up having to do it manually. Now the important part. I added my Panasonic UB820 to the U2 with no problems, initially. My UB 820 is hardware modded and also has the added DVD region hack through one of those little eBay remote control devices. For whatever reason, when you use the U2 remote control on the UB820, it WIPES the DVD region mod. Thus FORCING you to use your little eBay remote to apply the DVD region unlock again. So a word of warning, don't throw that little eBay remote away! I've removed the 820 from my U2 configuration for now until the issue is resolved. It may never be, who knows. Oddly I'd have thought the hardware mod would supersede the DVD remote unlock but it clearly doesn't. To note, the hardware mod is thankfully unaffected.
