Default Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (not the show)

Do you have a favourite local hangout who's food and atmosphere are so enticing that you keep going back for more? And of so, what item on their menu do you find irresistable?

One of mine is a Lebanese place that has the most wicked Shawarma's. I love Shawarmas and have had them in various places, but this spot is superb. The spicing is just right and they don't go crazy with the sauces and toppings. The wrap is always as fresh as can be, and when I take that first bite...I'm in Shawarma heaven!

Some of my distant family has a little resturant not far from me that has a Double Bacon Cheeseburger that is to die for. I've had burgers in NY, Cali, and everwhere inbetween but nothing compares to it though lol. The thing is massive, like 5 inches tall, it is just awesome. It looks like something you would see on Man vs. Food lol.

I eat a lot at the local mall's Chinese place but I always get take out so I wouldn't say I hang out there. Usually get - noodles with orange chicken and chicken mushroom as well as rice with kung pao chicken and spicy beef.

I would hardly call the mall Chinese place a local mom and pop place

I really don't have a place where I frequent enough to call it a second home. I enjoy going to Starbucks with friends and just relaxing while drinking a nice mocha. Chinese buffet's are great social place. We just had a new one open up which put another buffet out of business. Plenty of fresh food and large quantities. The shrimp is larger than you'd normally expect for a buffet and the sweet and sour chicken are the size of a first.

I also hit up a wing place every other Tuesday or so. The wings are 30 cents each..love the honey mustard. and Miller lite is .99. Garlic wings are pretty rough though haha..it hurts the next day.

You gotta try a shawarma place here. It makes every other shawarma I've had taste like kibble. Everything is fresh, crispy, and the garlic sauce is perfection. Just thinking about it makes me want to go, no matter how full I am. Actually, I think I need to make my own garlic sauce again... mmmm
