Default Do Smoking Laws Apply to E-Cigs?

Just something I was wondering about...

Do smoking laws also apply for those E-devices? Can you use them where smoking is prohibited.... hospitals, parks?

It would depend on the jurisdiction you're in I suppose. I don't know if there is actually a by-law or law that says you can't use them in certain places. I don't see anyone using them here in restaurants, hospitals or other public places.

Here in Louisville there's no official law against them, but most restaurant owners still don't allow it. Bars and things usually allow it though since they didn't want the ban in the first place.
