Default Nov 27 has to be the worst week of the year!!

This coming Tuesday is such a snooze I won't be buying any "new releases" instead Ill be buying movies on my wishlist. This week poses a serious threat to blu's year long domination.

I can't understand how they didn't see this coming.

Damn you tried Charlton Heston and his Omega Man. Calling it a snooze.

The only release that HD has that BD doesnt is anchorman and Hot Rod i think....not exactly a stellar showing for them either....anchorman is a good title that i would like to have but still not any real competition

I should have said it's a week showing for both sides. Omega man does sound interesting but I rather wait for "I am Legend" the remake. It should be better because the movie isn't as old and let's not forget CGI animations.

It would have been nice to get Mr Bean but that's only available on DUD. Ill probably pick 2-4 titles this week.

Tomb Raider, Die Hard 3, American Psycho and Fifth Element

I agree, the week of the 27th sucks for new Blu-ray releases. I was actually hoping that the BDA would have another BOGO but with different titles this time.

Hey BDA, please add Black Book to the next BOGO so that many, many people will have an opportunity to buy this excellent movie.

Isn't 'I Know Who Killed Me' one of the great masterpieces if cinematic art of all time?

Yea, I kind-a agree and no, I'm not a Charlton Heston fan, though Soylent Green is a good a cult classic SF.

Not to worry, as someone on this forum said to me once, the format war is a race only a tortoise can win.
It's the big picture that matters, not the individual day. Blu looks better in the big picture

I would take Heston over Will Smith, and CGI does not always ensure a good movie. Do you just mean it will look better because it's newer? Because I won't just say a movie is better because it is newer.

It's great to see another female giving her inputs and a very cute one at that.

seems to be bad, seeing the list of titles released that week.....
especially with adding "I know who killed me". It disgust me. Lindsay Lohan??? Not for me.

This week will show Blu's true numbers amongst different demographics. We can't all be looking for action films, can we?

I had a similar thought.

Why bother putting that one on Blu at all? With all the great films out there, catalog titles, classics etc., why spend any time, money, effort, or attention on that one ? :P

With our luck, Amazon or someone will come up another sale, just to make us buy more BRs that week.

I mean, I thought I was done buying for this month, but getting three classics for $50 shipped overseas was too good a deal to pass up today. And so it'll go on...

I actually would buy Omega Man if it had lossless audio (however old) and at least some extras. But vanilla just doesn't cut it in this day and age.

Maybe it's just a breather, to give you time to watch what you have accumulated and save your pennies, if your resources are limited?
