So what are the ones that stick out to you, the ones that seem to get the most criticism/ complaining about by posters on this forum?
Ones that stand out to me are: Star Wars: The Last Jedi Wonder Woman 1984 The Predator Funnily enough, i really enjoyed all 3 above movies ![]() |

On/Off topic
I adore Star Wars but I very rarely stray into the threads as I just find it....uncomfortable.... I don't mind people hating, no different to people loving something. What does get me though....is writing something off after reading a synopsis or watching a trailer...before you've seen the film. "That's a shit film" "You seen it?" "Nah don't have to, don't like the directors previous work, actor, trailer, wokeness, not adhering to source material...blah blah blah" And I'm done :-) |

People here seem to have a love-hate relationship with Rise of Skywalker and Ghostbusters 2016.

Justice League. Abhor it and what it did with Sups despite it being the only film that actually showed Cavill could be a great Superman.
Oh, and everyone luvs Zaddy Cut cause Superman has a black suit and acts even more broody. |

But I'd say they're is something to be said about not wanting to watch a film because of a particular director. I understand I maybe shouldn't always have this opinion, but lately I have found myself having the thought of if I didn't like a particular directors film that it puts me off wanting to watch their other films. Or if their film left a bad taste in my mouth. Although I do also realise of why i shouldn't always have that opinion, or should sometimes give the benefit of the doubt, is because it can sometimes quite easily be a case of I didn't like one of their films, but had liked their previous ones up until that point. So I maybe shouldn't write them off completely. I think it's also sometimes ok to not wanna watch a film if you don't care for a particular actor aswell. Some actors just don't attract me to a film. |
