Cool. Just re-watched all of the films via the Warner set from the UK, but I'll be curious to see what is new and different about this.

Amazed these haven't seen a North American release until now.

I’ve seen the first four and knew about the next two. Had no idea about the trip to Moscow one. Nice that they are finally coming to blu-ray stateside.

New transfers would be nice but, if not possible, the existing masters with no DNR would be nice (Police Academy 3 in Warner's box set was DNR-ed to death).

There probably won't be much, if any, extras but there's a lot of stuff they could include:

• Deleted scenes from the TV versions
• Episodes from the 1988 animated TV show
• Episodes from the 1997 live action TV show

Nice! Hopefully they include the deleted scenes from the extended TV versions... for whatever reason, only 4 included them in the DVD set.

I think Warner didn't release them on blu-ray in the US because they were waiting for the reboot to be made by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. It never got made and Warner then probably forgot they never released them on blu-ray in the US.

These are such fun, underrated movies and I cannot wait to finally get them on Blu-ray! Thank you Shout!/Warner!

I'll have to see if there's any difference in quality. I picked up the UK box set for just $25 earlier this year.

It'll have to be an impressive repackage to get me to buy the domestic release.

Cool. The music for these films by Robert Folk is surprisingly good. "I'm Gonna Be Somebody" by Jack Mack & the Heart Attack heard over the end credits is also a banger.

If I remember correctly, that one came five years (or so) after City Under Siege, and went straight to cable and home video, unless there was a token theatrical screening somewhere. It's not surprising Moscow is pretty obscure.

I had no idea there was a live-action television series (as someone previously mentioned), though I knew about the animated show. I have memories of seeing Citizens on Patrol and City Under Siege in theaters (I was too young to see the first three, and I don't remember why I missed Miami Beach).

I started to watch it several months ago on there and only made it through a 3 or 4 episodes before calling it quits.

Agreed. If Elton John had sung this instead of Jack Mack, we'd still be hearing it regularly to this day. Great '80s anthem.

I hope Shout incorporates the original poster artwork in the packaging. I've kept all my DVD snapper case versions just to have it.

I believe it only got a theatrical release outside of the US.

I think I grabbed the UK Blu-ray box set back in 2013 for like $13, so as long as these have new transfers and used the original artwork... hell yeah.

I pretty much saw all of them in theaters on their original release.
