I have all the individual releases of the films, but I am curious about the set in general. My guess would be 1, 4 and 5 have individual discs while 2/3 share one (As they are the least available films in B&M stores). If there are, in fact, only 4 discs.

I only have the first 3 on Dvd, the first 2 from that double pack. Wouldn't mind upgrading and selling off the ones I got...but I'm lazy lol

Got all 5 as it's my favorite current running series, but can't imagine anything new on this set. Less discs won't get us the "choose your own fate" version of part 3, or all the missing dvd extras from part 2, so what's the point other than to repack and sell off old disc stock for cheap? 4 discs is weird (and probably an error anyway, Amazon has been full of em recently), why slap 2 together, wouldn't that need a new disc master if nothing else?

Of course for people just learning of or getting into the series, it will be a nice cheap way to get all caught up. I'm hoping hard for more movies, esp. after the end of 5 which was the strongest ending in a series of strong endings IMO.

Yesss, yesss I have been waiting for them to release this!! I was almost tempted into buying 1-4 separately, since I've sold my previous DVD 4/pk and I already have Final Destination 5. Day 1 purchase for me...even though I made a promise to myself that The Little Mermaid was going to be the last blu-ray I would purchase until November.

Tony Todd has been saying for the last year or two that they're working on a sixth one so maybe they're waiting until then.

I actually just watched the 5th one last night. For the most part, I thought it was good cheesy fun, and then the ending really made the movie a lot better. I love how
[Show spoiler]it tied into the plane crash from the first one!! I was thinking throughout the movie that it was weird they were using such old cell phones. And on the way to the bridge, a log truck passed the bus. I wonder if it was THE log truck from one of the earlier films?

Thought it was a weird decision to include only the first four, but was still looking to pick it up as I have avoided buying the single releases this far. Got the email this morning about the cancellation for Amazon.

Available for $11.25 right now. Not sure if it's on sale at that price, but definitely a no brainer for anyone who doesn't already own the films.

I'm surprised they don't have a set with all 5 films? I wonder why?

Probably the 4 film set didn't sell very well, nor part 5 on it's own.
I actually went and looked at studios involved on my dvdprofiler page, nothing there to make me think that would anything to do with it.

Personally, I'm ready for another entry to the series. I loved part 5 and at least highly like them all.

Any plans for UHD 4K remasters of these?

I have recently rewatched 1 and 2 and damn, those movies were great. Totally made me look at things differently and do things more carefully lol

Amazing, thanks! And aside from the "Choose Your Fate" version, are all of the special features ported from the DVD?
