Also on the link I put right above your quote, it seems that all the International releases by BAC Video have had forced French subtitles when playing a movie in something else than French. :/ |

I have the German edition, should be the same as the French one. 1080/24p, 2.35:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1 English, German and French, optional subs French and German.
Audio commentary by James Gray, deleted scenes, Behind the scenes & Visualizing The Yards (appr. 12 minutes each) and Remembering The Yards (31 minutes). Compared to the R1 unrated DVD, you lose the second commentary (James Gray & Steven Soderbergh), the trailer and a picture gallery. PQ: reasonably sharp, fine grain layer, a bit of black crush. All said, this looks good to my eyes, this film has always been a bit hazy with somehow muted colours. AQ: nothing special, this is mostly dialogue driven, don't expect too much. Comes on a B-locked BD-50 with menus available in French and German. Audio and subs can't be changed on the fly, you have to go via the main menu. hope this helps.
