Default William Friedkin's The Guardian (1990)



Long time fave and underrated in my opinion. Effective, creepy and sexy. The flying Nanny scene still gives me goosebumps
Too bad it's not part of Shout! Factory's September/October Universal line up.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up - there is no new news (that I'm aware of) about this film.

However, I wanted to bump this since I've never seen The Guardian, but based on what I've read it sounds like a great horror/fantasy flick - with Halloween coming up, I'm getting re-interested in obscure horror movies. WF is a great director, and I've liked all of the films by him I've seen (which isn't all of them). Too bad the old DVD is currently OOP & quite expensive these days.

Count me in as someone who also wants this released on Blu...
