Japan Transcendence (Wally Pfister)


Pony Canyon will release Wally Pfister's Transcendence (2014) on Blu-ray in Japan on December 2nd, 2014.

According to AV Watch and Amazon, this release will have an English: Dolby Atmos sound track, possibly embedded in a TrueHD 5.1 track that also has 96kHz upsampling.

Amazon also seems to say the disc will use Panasonic's MGVC encoding as well.

However, neither specification is reflected in PonyCanyon's release page at the moment, although their shop page does mention the Atmos track.
