Saw these uploads by YRF and it looks like these movies have been cleaned up.
Daag [Show spoiler] Doosra Aadmi [Show spoiler] Kaala Patthar [Show spoiler] Noorie [Show spoiler] Sawaal [Show spoiler] Faasle [Show spoiler] Vijay [Show spoiler] No sign of movies like Kaala Patthar and Doosara Aadmi yet. Hopefully they'll put that up sometime sooner. Last edited by HDDCS; 06-30-2016 at 12:28 PM. |

There is no doubt Daag deserves Blu-ray. The good thing is Trailer looks great, and the bad things is they didn't include the chartbuster song Mere Dil Mein Aaj Kya Hai in the trailer
![]() There is possibility of Daag (1) and Noorie (2) Blu-ray, but I would like to see Kaala Patthar first. |

Noorie, on the other hand looks great but the audio sounds so-so. Just as a point of interest, the OOP edition by Yash Raj (authored by Super Digital) had really good picture quality. /web/20120811023043/http://www.zulm....&mode=&order=0 |

I hope they have restored Kaala Patthar along with these. I would rather have them release Kaala Patthar than Noorie, Sawaal and Vijay. I think that would make more sense as Kaala Patthar was hugely acclaimed, if that is the criteria at all.

DAAG is the only movie worthy of collection.
The rest are flops. |

Awesome, i enjoyed all these soundtracks, looking quite good. Faasle's title track and the Shobha Gurtu track Mora Banna Dulhan is superb. This just made me listen to these tracks again. No Doubt Laxmikant Pyarelal in Daag were amazing, Ni Main Yaar Manana Ni, Jab Bhi Jee Chahe, Ab Chahe Ma Roothe, Mere Dil Mein Aaj and Hawa Chale Kaise always remain with me. Khayyam's compositions in Noorie were very melodious, the title track alone gave Nitin Mukesh and Lata Mangeshkar a very beautiful addition to their discographies. Would love all of these on a song compilation blu ray from Yash Raj

^ I agree! The title track of Noorie is beautiful indeed! In fact, I find myself humming it quite often. "Chori Chori Koi Aaye" sure is among my fave Lata songs.
Honestly, I hardly found the soundtrack of Daag memorable. Apart from "Mere Dil Mein Aaj Kya Hai" (which would top my list of Kishore faves), I do not find any other track special. Although I've never had the guts to watch "Faasle", but I definitely I feel "Hum Chup Hain" is a very sweet song. Last edited by HDDCS; 09-21-2015 at 01:12 AM. |

You are right! Indian Box Office Network list NOORIE as a clean super hit (#8th most grosser of 1979). Budget: Rs 0.25 crores (25 lakhs) Actual Net (1979): Rs. 2.60 crores Adjusted Net (2012): Rs. 96.95 crores Thats almost a 100 crore club. Almost a blockbuster kind of a big hit! I am surprised these never caught my attention earlier. These have been around for a real long time. Songs from 'Daag' from restored prints.
What puzzles me is that the pitch of the audio has further been increased atop the PAL to NTSC conversation. |
