Default Collection Statistics (Decade)

How are movie decades represented in your collection? According to Blu-ray.com, my collection is:

41.1% 1980s
21.9% 1990s
14.6% 00s
14.1% 70s
7.3% 10s

Hot damn, I knew I loved the 80s but nearly twice as many as even the 90s!

My stats:

I don't think that only looking at the amount of movies you have from each decade reflects how much you love that particular decade. My personal favorite decade is the 70s, but it doesn't show in the statistics. Also, I think that these statistics shouldn't include double and triple dipped titles, if you own multiple releases of the movie, it should only register once in these percentage statistics.

I never really put much thought into what decade my favorite movies are from.

1980s: 21.7%
1970s: 15.5%
2000s: 14.6%
1990s: 13.6%
2010s: 11.8%
1960s: 10.7%
1950s: 6.2%
1940s: 3.0%
1930s: 1.9%
1920s: 0.8%
1910s: 0.1%

Considering the amount of 80's horror I like, I'm not surprised...

Looks like I don't have a bias toward any particular decade or era.

The 1950s used to be my biggest decade, but I've been purchasing a ton of 1980s flicks in recent months.

'80s, then '70s

Not really surpising considering the labels that make up most of my collection

edit: Bah, I don't feel like trying to remember my photobucket pass ;(

My Blu-ray collection is a bit heavy on 1950s-60s-70s, because those are the decades before 1980 with the greatest number of movies available on Blu-ray. I still have a substantial number of titles from the 2000s, especially 2008-09, since that's when I started buying Blu-rays and were also really cheap at the closing sales of the local Hollywood Video and Blockbuster stores. My actual favorite decades would be the 1910s-20s-30s-40s.

Not sure how to get the pie chart to display as an image.
