Default What's your routine when you get an album?

I was opening up some new and used albums I purchased and started going through my usual routine (you could almost call it a ritual at this point, I suppose) and was curious if any others shared the same habits as me. For me, whenever I buy a new or used album, I usually go step by step:

1) Place record on my turntable and dry brush for couple spins with an Audioquest carbon fiber brush and blow excess dust/paper off with compressed air

2) Clean each side using my Record Doctor V vacuum-powered RCM at least once, sometimes twice depending on the condition of the album.

3) One more pass with a dry brush before I will actually listen to it.

4) Enjoy the music!!!

5) After listening, into a MoFi inner sleeve the albums go and the album itself goes in a poly outer sleeve and gets filed accordingly.

How about you? Do you just take records out of the shrink and throw them on the turntable? Do you meticulously inspect them under a bright light for any imperfections always? Do you put them in ikea frames and hang them on the wall and watch with subtle admiration???
