London Drugs - $7.50 Blu-Ray bin

I just wanted to give everybody a heads up - if you have a London Drugs in your city, go check it out as they have a bin with "2 for $15" Blu-Rays. They actually scan at $7.50 each so you don't have to buy in multiples of 2 if you don't want to. I picked up some pretty cool titles there:

Traffic (steelbook)
The Fighter (steelbook)
Traitor
The Tempest
The American
Velvet Goldmine
The Soloist
Far From Heaven
Frida
Secretary
The Rum Diary
The Motorcycle Diaries
No Country for Old Men
Rendition
Adoration
The Proposition
Good Will Hunting
Swingers (with slipcover)
City of God
Gangs of New York

They also had some great titles that I already have like Jackie Brown and Pulp Fiction.

Looks like E1 is trying to clear out their stock of old Maple Pictures and Alliance Films titles.

Yeah that is what it looks like. I went to another location today and the selection at this store was almost completely different then the one I went to yesterday. The one I went to today also had a few more Universal titles compared to the location I went to yesterday. It seems like whoever is distributing these bins to London Drugs are just throwing whatever blu-rays they find into the bins regardless of the title and shipping them to the stores. Heck I even found the Future Shop exclusive of The Woman in Black in these bins.

The selection varies so much that I just recommend going to your local store and seeing what you can find.

Which dollar stores have blu-ray? I've only seen a small selection of DVD's at the ones I've been to here in Edmonton.

To add to the thread, I also saw titles from Paramount in the bins as well. I'm going to check some of the other LD's and see what other movies I can find.

Dollarama but the selection is very YMMV.
