Les Paul GH3 patch for RB Blocked By Activision - Blu-ray Forum

I looked through the first page (today's posts) and didn't see a link to this, so sorry if it's a repost...

But, it appears that our good friends have a patch to allow the Les Paul to work on RB, but Activision said they can't push it... details here ->

Yeah, I just recently read that...it's pissing me off.

I'm wondering why, because honestly I don't see how it would hurt them, it may actually INCREASE their sales.

The only downfall I could see is people contacting them about problems with the Les Paul while using it in Rock Band...which could cause some issues, but simple enough...say it's not your problem, but don't BLOCK it.

I want to play 4 player on rock band!

yep, exactly. I bought GH3 because I wanted 2 guitars for each game. just makes me mad. But I'm hoping that all the e-mails etc will make them change thier mind.

I bought GH3 because I thought I was going to be able to play GH1 and 2 on my PS3...but they lied about that.

I knew from the get-go that the Rock Band controller wouldn't work with GH3...but I was always under the impression that the GH3 controller would work as a bass in Rock Band...and this patch gives that ability, which would make me quite happy.

It does already exist. We've been discussing it (or at least I have been) in the Rock Band Megathread. But it's so damn frustrating it warrants a second thread. I can't believe Activision can even get away with this BS.

Activision should be ashamed, the 360 version already supports GH3 guitars, the patch was done, sent to sony yet these asses decide to block it from their consumers, what an annoyance.

Maybe a petition or something should be launched on the approprate activision forums for this

Did you guys know that NBC/Universal was/is buying out Activision/Vivendi Games?

I Heard it on CNBC last week, that's why Activision and Vivendi Shares Shot up!

So Obviously NBC/Microsoft had something to do with this.

How can you have the DudBOX 360 work GH3 and RB together and not PS3!

Propaganda and Insider advantage.

We need more boycotts!!! or Something!!!
