vudu streaming issue

Forgive me and kindly show me to this discussion if a thread already exists. Thanks.

I have been trying to watch Batman '66 and other movies lately on vudu on my playstation 3 and it has been buffering every 30 seconds which is extremely irritation when trying to watch something.

I did a speed test and it says I need 4500 kbps to run hex and my test shows I have 30,000 kbps so there's no real reason for this problem.

I have no issues streaming video on netflix, psn, or on my apple tv so this seems like it's something on vudu's end, but I don't know what that would be.

Is anyone else having issues like this? Is there anything you're doing that's helping the situation?

I'd try cleaning the cache on your PS3 hard drive and see if that helps.

I had this issue for a long time on my Xbox 360. My internet was Verizon Fios, which Vudu claimed was part of the issue. After several phone calls with both, I eventually found a combination of port forwarding and DMZ configuration on my router that worked.
