If we all just waiting without making a lot of noise i am pretty sure we will only read about a 4k disc in the press announcement after cinema start.

No 3D disc would be a catastrophe for me !!!

I am so looking forward to this! "Welcome to the Jungle" was such a blast. And it confirmed me as a big fan of Dwayne and Jack. It was a nice change for this old fart who doesn't think very kindly of most of today's films to find one that he has enjoyably watched several times! Will hold off until a 3D Blu-ray is available, even if only in "B" (I'm covered for that). And price will be no object.

Jumanji was one of my favorite movies as of recent times. Was a fun 3D ride. So I will be looking forward to this 3D release. Don't let me down Sony. Unless you want that Disney company to get all my movie money.

Ah yes, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. That would be the sequel to Jumanji.

I liked the last enough to buy this in 3D, but would probably skip watching this altogether in 2D.

I didn't expect to enjoy "Welcome To The Jungle" as much as I did, I will admit I was quick to judge it on the early trailers which I usually try my best not to do. I'm glad I was wrong it was such a fun movie.

I can't wait to see this one in 3D! Looks like more fun to be had.
Also I love the The Rock releasing his inner Devito. LOL

The last one was interesting, and the 3D was mostly medium layers, though the trailer for the new one looks like it'll be more of the same, though they have yet to reveal the main challenge for the heroes. Even so, the 3D will have to be strong to get me into the theater to see this sequel. I'll be surprised if it can match the last film in story and quality, since this one is being cranked out pretty fast. Hopefully a strong 3D conversion if there's time before Christmas 2019 if that's the release date.

I hope Sony will respect their customers, like Paramount Pictures with "Gemini Man" and will release this title also on Blu-ray 3D

The first one is a long lasting bestseller at the 3D Blu-ray section alone on amazon.de since its release.

If this movie will be a huge box office success, there are absolutely no reasons to deny the Blu-ray 3D release!

Otherwise i will be more than p. o. Wrote a long e-mail to the Sony Germany home entertainment sales manager a few days ago, to do my very best.

That’s the key!! If it gets close to the previous one we will definitely get a 3D blu. Fingers crossed.

I still cannot believe how much the previous movie grossed. Absolutely insane for such a mediocre piece of cinema.

Well I side with Scorsese and Coppola on this one.

Well done. I just wrote an email to my local cinema programmer (who, unless lobbied, shirks 3D) to ask that he plan a few 3D screenings (and at reasonable times). Fingers crossed!

If we 3D lovers don't support theatrical 3D who will? And if theatrical 3D statistics are even more moribund than last year, how can we expect studios to continue investing in 3D filmmaking/conversions in the new decade? Everyone's worried about 3D blu-ray while I'm considering us lucky to be getting a 3D live-action film produced by Sony in late 2019.
