I think it's great that this will be available for more people this Christmas but I am wondering what I'm buying a PS5 for when this and Horizon are both coming to PS4. They've talked a lot about various games getting PS5 upgrades but there's very little detail on what that actually is going to mean for different games.

But seriously, while I was hoping the PS5 game MM was exclusive to PS5, it's not a big deal because this game doesn't have any type of gameplay that could only be done on a PS5 anyway, since PS4 is capable of incredible graphics.

And I totally understand why they are offering a PS4 version. Lots of fans don't want to or won't upgrade to PS5 yet or in the future.

I bet this will play very similar to the PS5 version and look nearly just as great. The comparisons will likely be minimal visually, since great art is great art. And PS4 can handle it no problem visually.

Its great that its coming out for PS4, means I dont have to be in a rush to get a PS5 this holiday & can wait until sometime next year.

I’m buying the PS4 version and not waiting for the PS5. I am currently playing Marvel Spider-Man and it is like playing a movie. Amazing game.

This is really fun & just as good as the main Spider-Man game, enjoying it a lot. Looking forward to the next Spider-Man game from Insomniac.

Anyone have an idea when the apparent embargo on discounting of this game will end? In every game sale I've come across, this game seems to be specifically excluded from the promo. I liked playing the last game and all, but it was ultimately another Arkham City clone with a less developed story. No way is what appears to be just a clone of that game, seemingly borrowing a lot of the work already done for the previous game, if not just a glorified long DLC, worth full freaking price! But, I told my 10 year old nephew I'd get it for him as soon as I saw a half decent deal, and he's caught up with all the other games he got for Christmas, since he's still mostly home-schooled due to the pandemic.

And the embargo continues. Target finally included this in their BOGO earlier this week, but I couldn't find two other comparably priced games/movies to pair with it. Finally, a tv set came back in stock and wouldn't you know, the manufacturer had Target remove the game from the promotion. I'm done wasting my time on it. PS Plus freebie or BF $10-$15 deal or bust for this overrated DLC. I'm so tired of the relentless greed, gross mismanagement, and overwhelmingly consumer-unfriendly business tactics that have permeated the gaming industry in recent years. Sorry for the mini-rant.
