Default Ultra HD Specs Downgraded?

New ULTRA HD Blu-ray discs hold up to 66GB and 100GB of data on dual and triple layer discs respectively.

That means 33Gb for a Single Layer Disk!

True but I doubt we'll ever see a 33GB disc or if we do it would be very limited. More than likely the 66GB and 100GB disc will be the 25GB and 50GB BD equivalent, respectively.

Yep. There's no "downgrade" here.

I never heard a spec for 33gb single layer? I don't think one is going to exist correct? Just the 66 and 100?

Wasn't the 66 supposed to be the Single Layer?

No, not from what I've seen, 66GB is dual layer and 100GB is triple layer (~33GB per layer).

Yeah, these are just double and triple layered this time around, 66 and 100. From what I understand anyway.
