2. " I can't confirm or deny right now I will email you soon "

I like the steelbook BB did for the first Amazing Spiderman. It had 3D and simple cover art. Hopefully they don't load the cover for TASM 2 with Spidey/Rhino/Electro/Gwen. Those covers and posters look too cheesy for me.

I hope the artwork is different. If it is Best Buy, they had exclusive artwork for the first film didn't they?

The steelbook artwork for "TASM" matched the standard Blu-ray.

But it matched the standard 2D artwork, which was kinda weird being a 3D release.

Which means that it's still under Solicitation, so it doesn't exist yet.

As you yourself admitted, things can be cancelled. In fact, a product can be pulled as late as the day before street date. Guess work doesn't count for anything. All one has to say is, "A Steelbook for any movie ever made is under consideration."

Being that is is a shared run I would suspect that they would be sharing with Future Shop who have already shown their artwork so I doubt it will be different.

Not that I was collecting then, but was their first run a shared run with another retailer? Seeing how long they sat around on shelf's I would think it wasn't but am not sure.

That being said I hope it is because I am not too keen on the artwork shown so far.

You mean in Canada or around the world? It's listed as an FS exclusive. But the same SB art is in Germany, Asia, etc. Best Buy art was WEA and was only at Best Buy

I guess around the world I just figured if BB was sharing a run they would do it with a store that they are affiliated with.

Regardless though, I am not sure we will see something different...so far every steelbook I have seen for TAS2 has been the not so attractive FS photo. One can hope though.
