Default Av for bedroom for audio

I am looking for a good av reciever for the bedroom I will be running paradigm studio 10s and SE center channel only.

In my main room I have a Denon 4100 which is phenomenal, but don't need that much in the bed room.

Part of me want to just wants to get a stereo reciever and ditch the center.

A lot of the receivers I found are lackluster for music 😔

My bedroom system is very simple - I don't have an HDMI receiver in it either. I'm just going from my blu-ray player/network device into the TV via HDMI and coming out SPDIF of the TV into a Dolby Digital receiver. It works great for the bedroom. I used to have a HDMI receiver in the bedroom but donated it to my son-in-law so he could get hooked . The Dolby Digital one works fine. I'm running Gale HT405.1 speakers in the bedroom and the sound great in there.

Because you HAVE TO have a system in the bedroom!

I wouldn't go without it.

You need to play with a few AVR, many have gone to where center set up is dependent on surround first(found that out the hard way at a clients house).

But, the Yamaha 377 would be a good place to start. I know the YSP adoption needs 5 speakers...but...nobody hates that AVR otherwise.
