Default Denon AVR-X2100W

Hi all,

So I am looking at upgrading my amp very soon. I currently have a Sony amp (cant remember the model but its 7 years old) and the Denon AVR-X2100W looks really good for what I need. However ready the What Hi-Fi they have mentioned that the bass lacks punch and weight.

Is there anyone on here who has got one or had any experience with this amp? It looks great and meets everything I need. The main reason I am holding back at the moment other than time of year is that I am running KEF 3001SE speakers in 7.1 config and don't want a lacklustre amp not been able to pump enough to the speakers.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Have no idea how a receiver lacks bass.

That is the speakers job.
