BD-S300's at Target!!! - Blu-ray Forum

So today was the epic launch day for Blu-ray disc players at Target. The ad says $399, but they are actually being sold at $389. Also, if you buy 2 of 8 BD's advertised with it you get a $100 Gift card. My store sold 2! I felt like I was giving the people that bought them a child that I had raised oh so carefully and lovingly

. Makes me happy. They'll grow up. get FW updates. Play all the greatest blu's. And make so many people happy. What a life

I tried!and then people said I was a jackass because Target wasn't really going to start selling them today. And then they were complaining that you had to buy 2 blu's with them. WHATEV!!

My exchange is selling them for $299.99 until Dec 7th. I got my step-dad to buy one even though he only has a 720p TV. The picture quality still blew him away.

Yes. Blu-ray will still look wonderful compared to DVD on a 720p TV. It really is no contest.
