Free movies disappeared from Vudu? - Blu-ray Forum

Remember when Sex Tape and a few others were free from Sony Store? Oddly enough the 3 I got, Sex Tape, Surf's Up, and Bad Boys disappeared from my Vudu locker. Anyone else who got these free movies have this issue? I checked Flixter and noticed they're still there.

Well then something's still wrong cause they and it appears a few others are not appearing in my Vudu locker. You may be fine but I'm not.

I didn't even know Vudu offered free movies. I guess I missed out

I didn't say Vudu was offering free movies. Sony store had a few free movies but now the movies I got aren't showing up in my Vudu locker...and now that I looked closer, some other Sony movies arent' showing up there either. Could it be a problem with Sony's site?

Happened to me too. At first I thought it was just the free movies. My reaction was, "Damn, I never even got a chance to watch them." But then I noticed some of my other Sony movies missing too, like Moneyball (granted, I got the code free from someone here, but still, it was from an actual purchase), so I knew something was amiss.

The solution, thankfully, is simple:

Reconnect your UV account to VUDU (no idea why it was ever disconnected in the first place) and you'll get them back.

Shit like this really makes me dread an all-digital future. While we didn't actually lose anything this time, I can imagine how SethRex felt when he discovered them missing, because I felt the same way until I figured out how to fix it.

I had this problem today. All the movies I redeemed/converted from services other than Vudu (~50) disappeared.

Re-linked (not sure how it got broken) and all is well.
