I have a relatively new issue on my slim PS3. In certain spots while playing BDs the audio will drop out for a few frames. The video however is fine. If I test the same BD on my PS4 it plays flawlessly. I'm running the PS3 via HDMI to my Vizio P then the audio out via RCA to my old stereo receiver. I would assume it could be the older audio equipment but the PS4 plays fine.
I have tried adjusting settings for video and audio in the PS3 menu. I bought the PS3 lens cleaner disc and ran it multiple times. I've tried different inputs on the TV. I'm not sure what else to do. I've found some posts on google but none helped any. Does anyone here have any ideas? I really love the PS3 BD player and don't want to give up on it. |
