assassins creed is really really good... im waiting on mine but played a bit at my friends house and loved it. also played the unchartered demo and it was for sure equally as sick. depends whether you prefer third person shooters or melee stealth games
personally i prefered assassins creed but thats my opinion and its not that i dont like third person shooters... kane and lynch is so much fun Last edited by pedigree; 11-19-2007 at 01:55 AM. |

I own Assassin's and it blew me away, a pleasant surprise. It depends on what type of action platform you prefer. Assassin's is a little GTA(there are little flags that you can find) and Prince Of Persia. I think Uncharted is a little more like Tomb Raider. Either way the best way to decide is to rent them both and see for yourself which you prefer.

I have Uncharted and it is a hell of a lot of fun. Though I don't have Assassin's Creed. I've heard it freezes sometimes. I hear it's amazing but a dual platform game. So I give the edge to the ps3 exclusive title, but that's just my opinion.

The only time my copy of Assassin's froze on me was due to the RSS feed from the 2.00 firmware update. After I turned this off it played fine. I think firmware 2.01 is supposed to correct this.

I bought both also. Story-wise, the premise behind Assassins Creed is a bit misleading. That, in a sense, affected my opinion of the two. I personally found Uncharted: Drake's Fortune the better of the two in terms of fun. It is more non-stop action and does not have big breaks in action like Assassins Creed does.

I agree Uncharted was just such a great game that I just can't keep my hands off!!! Assassins Creed is great don't get me wrong but I was much more entertained by Uncharted and much more drawn to play more of it ^^ (oh I never had Assassins Creed lock up on me btw I just loved Uncharted) oh and Assassins Creed reminded me of a really pretty version of Crackdown (which isn't a bad thing) just seemed kinda familiar ya know?

As an avid gamer who owns a PS3, Wii, and a 360, I'll tell you that Uncharted has blown me away, and it's the 1st game to do so since Gears of War. I own Assassin's too, but Assassin's Creed has failed to wrap me up in it's story and game play the way that Uncharted has done.
My thoughts on each.... Uncharted AI is far more challenging. Uncharted game play is more that deeper. Uncharted has more levels of difficulties, which adds replay value. Uncharted has more hidden items for you to look for. And Uncharted has a award system that is much the 1000 achievements points of the 360. Both games are about 14-16 hours longs, but AC seems to offer no additional replay value to once you have defeated it unless you failed to collect the hidden flags. I would tell you that Uncharted is your choice hands down, but everyone is different. To each their own... or so they say. Either choice is good. Enjoy whatever one you get. =D |

Only have Assassin's Creed at the moment and I really enjoy just running around across the top of buildings, or ploughing into random soldiers on my trusty nag. Not so funny when said soldiers chuck a rock at me and knock me off my horse though

If you got the the money, get em' both. There two different stories, two different styles of game play . I mean it's just like wathching two simalar movies with different storylines. It dosen't mean one is "better" than the other it's just means that each one has something different to offer. I bought both titles and I'm satistfied.I played through the uncharted demo and I'm about a third of the way into Assasins. Trust me you won't have any regrets if you get both. It just depends on what appeals to you more, striaght forward swashbuckling action or detective/steath with a dash of action.
