I liked the film but I was disappointed in the portrayal of Max Baer. He wasn't the villain he was made out to be in real life.

omg YES! I was waiting for a site in the UK to do a BD deal. Good ol'd Play.com, my fav online retailer.

Now to go crazy.

EDIT: wow it works with the Sidey Trilogy too, shame I bought that a while ago. And it works with Close Encounters but they just just shipped my copy! grr!

Placed my order for "Cinderella Man," "Bruce Almighty," and "Scary Movie 4." This deal puts the imports at just about the retail price of the HD DVDs.

i get more cashback from there (and with student discount thrown in its loads cheaper than play)

I ordered three movies and although I got a few #'s off on each of them at 50#s and change delivered to the U.S., I did not get one free.

The Island
Lucky Number Slevin
Face Off

On a more positive note, ordered yesterday and Amazon uk has already shipped them.
I believe thats around 25.00 each which isn't bad for imports.

I wasn't happy with the selection at Tesco.

But what play seemed to do was kinda switch prices..

For example the first 3 movies I ordered was

The Spider-Man boxset at 29.99
GoodFellas at 17.99
and The Santa Clause 3 at 17.99

What play then did was charge 1.99 for goodfellas and 27.99 for spidey.

Not sure why, but it worked out the same.

On my second order for 6 BD's it had a seprate section for the "free ones"
