I was actually just reading an article that mentioned Sony tried to broker a deal with iTunes to have it up for sale/rent, apparently even requesting the help of the President and the White House, but Apple turned them down. Probably a smart move by Apple, as my guess is they turned this down for fear of being targeted by hackers. Hopefully buying the movie on seetheinterview.com counts as a Sony Pictures Store purchase. Which would than eventually be added to your UltraViolet locker.

Not gonna happen; that site is being run for Sony by an outside company called Kernel. The only viable UV option right now is to wait for Vudu or some other UV provider.
