Blu-ray Ninja

![]() ![]() Releases here next week I cant recommend this film enough Its $15.98 over at JB which makes me think it might be thrown in for the B2G1F deal which is even better ![]() If you have Badlands I would suggest making it a double feature as that's how I saw it my first time As Molly would say "do yourself a favor" |

I already have the US and English DVDs of this (the US has better picture quality but the UK has director's commentary which is missing from the US).
I suspect this may be from the same source as the German Blu Ray which DVD Beaver reviewed and stated an improvement of the US DVD. But these doesn't seem to be any significant difference from what I can see. Judge for yourself: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film4/blu-r...on_blu-ray.htm |

I've got the German BD and it's got a nice filmic presentation, Tooze's screen caps are rarely accurate at DvdBeaver, a vague idea of what's on the disc at best. Great film, highly recommended.

I picked up the Blu Ray earlier this week.
I compared it to the American DVD and the picture quality difference is rather minimal. The Blu Ray does look better, but not by a great deal. I also compared it to the British DVD released back in 2005. Well I only need to say the the British edition is dark, murky and cropped at the bottom and right side of the frame. The only reason I ever kept and will still keep the British edition was because it has director Noel Black's commentary. |
