Default Fred Meyer Electronic Blu Exclusive!

Not sure if this information has been posted, or if it's old news here or not. So I apoligize ahead of time.

I just got back from Fred Meyer electronic, next to my house. I spoke with the manager there and he said "Due to high demands we will be giving Blu-ray its own shelf section, and bring in more Blu-ray titles."

As for HD-DVD, he says. "No, we will not be bringing in HD-DVD."

I walk out with a smile.

Hi, not sure which Fred Meyer you went into? but all of the stores carry a 50/50 selection of Blu and HD DVD. I go to three different stores here on the Eastside/Bellevue and two of the stores have this mix. The third does not even stock "any" High Def".

I know that there are stores in Alaska, Washington, Idaho and Oregon so you may have a different set up, but in general I don't see them picking sides yet.

Just my angle on this.

Yea, I'm not sure, but the Fred Meyer near my house does not carry any HD-DVD at this point. Maybe it's sold out?

I don't know, but i'm just passing along what the manager there told me.

It's Oregon Fred Meyer by the way.
