United Kingdom Halloween H20

Just a word of warning for anyone getting the UK 4K steelbook of Halloween H20.
Paramount have done the ultimate cheap move and simply included the decade old Studio Canal blu-ray in the set. It only has French or German menus, no English and you have to remember to select the correct language/subtitle option. There's also no English subtitles, just French or German.
Really, really shitty considering the steelbook is £30 and this is the first blu-ray release in the UK.

I have the old Studio Canal BD and tested it now, as you say it's DE or FR menus, which is manageable. But you can't just press the Audio button on remote, you have to use the Popup menu, select 'Sprachen/Ton' and select English audio. Same for subtitles, but as you say, no English subs.

Yes, the 4K is fine (movie only, no extras on disc). I assume it’s basically the US disc as it even has the MPA R rating card at the start.

Yeah, out of interest I looked out my German Studio Canal disc and yes, it’s the exact same disc.
