Nope, never was announced. Weinstein stopped releasing HD DVDs and have not yet announced any Blu-ray discs as of yet. even though there is a rumor about it. Hopefull they will by the time The Mist is released.

This was all a rumor started by another member. He claimed that when he went in store at FYE they had a Blu Ray pre order day/date release with the DVD. We had asked him to provide proof which he never did. Hell even on the Weinstein site it only shows titles for DVD only. I thought something was wrong with his post. If anything does indeed get announced, I'm sure Josh or Moretonbay will post something about this.

i might be wrong but i think they should the poster which did indeed say blu ray but someone else then went on to say there was a printing error and all the posters were being replaced with DVD only ones.
