I'm a big fan of cult and horror cinema and for whatever reason, the UK seems to only get the most mainstream of films (and even that is a stretch, as major cinema released horror films of the last decade are still patchily released over here) and everything else is either condemned to region a or DVD hell. Why does this happen? I dunno, but it's annoying.
Upon discovery this forum, and by proxy what regions the rest of the world is using, Germany opened the doors for me to get my hands on old favourites or possibly new ones too that just don't look like they're ever going to be released over here in the UK. I dunno why Germany seem to get the rights to like every cult horror film ever released but I'm grateful and thanks to Amazon allowing you to buy from there and the shipping being cheap, it also doesn't cost me any more to import. So thanks Germany, you guys are the best. |
